Bunnies at Temple David!

During Tot Shabbat on August 18, we learned about the mitzvah of caring for animals. Gretchen Underwood from Rabbit Wranglers was kind enough to bring our guests Shelby (white) and Guinevere (brown).

Not only did we learn about how to handle and pet the bunnies, we also made healthy snacks for them with alfalfa and bunny treats. Did you know that bunnies shouldn’t eat carrots too often? They are sugary treats that are reserved only for special occasions….the same way we only eat cupcakes on special occasions.
