May Weiger School Tzedakah Collection
For our Tzedakah Collection this year, the Weiger School will focus on a different Israeli organization each month.
For May, we will focus on the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel (SPNI), Israel’s leading environmental non-profit organization. For over 60 years SPNI has been dedicated to protecting and preserving Israel’s natural resources, environment, natural assets, and unique landscape.

Weiger School Tzedakah Program
Do you have to be in religious school to donate to the nine Israeli organizations that the Weiger School is supporting? No, you don’t!
The Weiger School would like to thank an anonymous benefactor (you know who you are) for their very generous donation. It took a long time to count and roll all of those nickels, dimes, and quarters, not to mention over seven hundred pennies! When all that counting and rolling was done $126.22 has been added to this year’s tzedakah.
You can contribute, too. The tzedakah canisters and a description of each organization may be found on a table in front of the school office. Please consider sharing what is in your tzedakah boxes, your pockets, and under your couch cushions! It is a mitzvah you know.
March Weiger School Tzedakah Collection
For our Tzedakah Collection this year, the Weiger School will focus on a different Israeli organization each month.
For March, we will focus on Yad Sarah, Israel’s largest volunteer-staffed organization. Yad Sarah provides a wide array of compassionate health and home care services for people of all ages, with special programs directed at support for older adults and for children and adults with disabilities.

We’d like you to be in person at Temple during religious school hours (Sunday 9-11 a.m. and/or Wednesday 4:30-6:05 p.m.).
