Library – Miranda Nixon
People Of The Book
The library has been an integral part of Temple David since its inception. It has always been supported by its members as they honor special people and life cycle events with generous donations.
Currently the library contains approximately 2,000 books for adults and over 1,000 books of Jewish interest for children and young adults — and it continues to grow! Special displays of new and holiday books change on a regular basis. We are especially proud of our children’s collection which ranges from board books for the very young to reading for adolescents.
Adults with interests as varied as cooking, fiction(both American and Israeli) history, holocaust, mysticism, parenting and much more will find lots to read.
The library is open whenever the Temple is open. Temple members borrow and return books on the honor system. Anyone who would like assistance should contact me at mirandan@templedavid.org.
